The missing shopper path was the product page itself. Import covered history. Theme blocks showed what you already had. Asking for a new review meant the email pilot.
Shoppers can now write a review from the product they are looking at.
What ships
The product review list can show a Write a review link. It points at /apps/agentready/reviews/new on your domain. No AgentReady origin. No widget host. The link sits in the light DOM, outside the shadow list, so a shopper with JavaScript off still reaches the form.
The form is HTML. Rating, optional title, review text, display name, optional email, optional photos. Submit sends a POST. The thank-you page says the review is waiting for you, not live on the store.
How-to: the write a review form. Theme-editor switch: show_write_review, default on, in storefront blocks.
Photos
Up to four images, the same cap as the emailed review page. They are stored with the pending row. If you publish the review, the photos render on the list when Show review photos is on. Re-hosting into Shopify Files is the same rule as photo reviews that survive a migration.
Why first paint still matters
The list on the product page is still Liquid. The write link is still an <a href>. A fetcher that reads the HTML sees approved reviews and a way for a human to add one. It does not need to run a script to find either.
Readable by AI agents is unchanged. This does not improve ranking, citations, or traffic. It does not mean an assistant will name the store. Reviews AI agents can actually read is still the claim.
Pending on purpose
Unverified plus pending is the honest state for a public form. You moderate. You publish. Until then the snapshot, the stars, and AggregateRating stay as they were.
AgentReady Reviews is the product page. Sort and filter on the same list is the sort doc.
