Approved reviews are in the first HTML paint. AggregateRating JSON-LD ships only when no other app owns the markup. On paid plans the same ratings appear in llms.txt and agents.md.

Reading another app's ratings into structured data is not the same as showing AgentReady Reviews on the storefront. You can do either, or both.

Review data vs review widgets

Import, then keep the library yours

Bring your history from Judge.me, Okendo, Loox, or any CSV. Re-imports are duplicate-safe. Reviews that do not match a product land in a repair queue instead of disappearing. Source moderation history is respected: a review a previous app rejected arrives unpublished. Full CSV export is always free, including photo references.

Moderate, reply, and show them

Publish, unpublish, and reply in public as a store response. Search, filter, and sort the queue, and add, edit, or delete a row by hand. Imported photos are re-hosted into the store's own Shopify Files and shown on the storefront; you can hide any photo. Three theme-editor blocks, opt-in, no theme code edits, no injection: product review stars, product review list, and all store reviews. Shoppers can sort and filter the list, and write a review from the product page.

Readable to shoppers and to machines

The first paint is zero-JavaScript, from Shopify metafields. Show more reviews loads the rest through a signed endpoint on the store's own domain. AggregateRating is emitted only when no other app's review markup is present. On paid plans, ratings also flow into agents.md, llms.txt, and the catalog feed.

Questions merchants actually ask

Can AI assistants read my reviews?

Yes, on first paint. Approved reviews are server-rendered from Shopify metafields with zero JavaScript, so a fetcher that reads the HTML sees the stars and the text. On paid plans the same approved ratings also appear in agents.md, llms.txt, and the catalog feed. Readable by AI agents is the claim. It does not mean an assistant will name your store.

Is it free?

Storefront display, import, moderation, replies, photos, and CSV export are free. Ratings in AI-facing files (agents.md, llms.txt, and the catalog feed) are on paid plans.

Can I import from Judge.me, Okendo, or Loox?

Yes. Import from Judge.me, Okendo, Loox, or any CSV. Verified badges, public replies, photos, and dates carry over when the export includes them. Rows a previous app rejected arrive unpublished. Re-imports are duplicate-safe. A completed import can be reverted: Revert this import deletes that import's reviews and their hosted photos, refreshes snapshots, keeps the receipt, and lets you import the same file again. Files are limited to 25 MB and 50,000 rows.

Will it duplicate my review schema?

No. AggregateRating is emitted only when no other app's review markup is present. If a competitor's markup appears, AgentReady demotes its own. You can also opt in to Shopify's reviews.rating metafield sync after a clear ownership check.

Do I keep my reviews if I leave?

Yes. CSV export is always free. Leave the filters blank for the full library, or filter by status, reviewed-at date range, product handle, and source. The filename names the filters you chose. The file includes photo references in media_json, replies, and dates. Photos are already in your own Shopify Files, so they stay with the store. A completed import can be reverted from Reviews with Revert this import.

Does it collect new reviews?

Shoppers can write a review from the product page. The form lives on your store's own domain, needs no script on first paint, and new reviews arrive unverified and pending. Review-request sending is a separate supervised collection pilot. The merchant controls who is asked and when. Live fleet sending is not self-serve. Judge.me, Okendo, and Loox still lead on live collection email volume.

Will the review blocks slow down my storefront?

The first paint renders from a Shopify metafield snapshot in Liquid. It does not wait on an AgentReady, Vercel, or database request. Show more reviews, if you leave it on, loads later pages through a signed endpoint on your store's own domain.

What does AgentReady Reviews not do yet?

Stars on collection templates, question boards, and video on the storefront are not in this release. Review-request sending stays in a supervised collection pilot, not unlimited live fleet sending. Judge.me, Okendo, and Loox still lead on collection emails, video, question boards, and photo carousels.
