AgentReady's paid product publishes and maintains structured data on Shopify stores. On any other website, the free checker still audits your public site: it crawls your pages, grades how readable they are to AI assistants, and gives you the full report with self-serve guidance to apply yourself. Nothing to install, no account needed, and nothing to bill.
On Shopify? Use the Shopify getting started guide instead. Install from the App Store and bill through Shopify.
1. Run the free checker
Go to the free AI-readiness checker and enter your website URL: the bare domain or homepage you want audited (e.g. yourbrand.com). It works on any public site, not just Shopify.
2. Read your report
The checker crawls your public pages and grades what an AI assistant could actually learn from them: structured data, discovery files, crawl access, and the facts on the page. Every finding says what it checked and why it matters.
3. Apply the guidance
Each gap in the report comes with self-serve guidance: what to add or fix on your site, and how to verify it landed. Structured data, agents.md, and llms.txt are the highest-leverage fixes for most sites.
4. Re-run after you change things
Fix something, then run the checker again on the same URL to confirm the gap closed. The report reflects your live site, so a re-run is the honest way to check your work.
What to do next
- Read the readiness score to understand how AgentReady grades your site.
- Read agents.md and llms.txt: the discovery files any site can serve.
- Selling on Shopify too? The Shopify guide covers the full product: automated structured data, publishing after your approval, and verification on your live storefront.
A few other docs (structured data, catalog quality, Shopify Sidekick) describe Shopify-specific features and won't all apply to a non-Shopify site. The readiness score and agents.md and llms.txt are the ones written for any website.
