Live verification
Published is a claim. Verified is an observation.
Plenty of tools write data and assume it reached the page. AgentReady checks. After a publish, it fetches your live storefront the way an AI crawler does and confirms that its own output, not just any markup, is present and valid. You get the date it confirmed, or an honest account of why it could not.
Verification follows every publish
When a publish completes, AgentReady schedules a storefront check on its own. It re-fetches the live page, reads the structured data actually served, and records the outcome against that publish.
It verifies its own output, specifically
A theme can emit valid Product markup on its own, and a check that only asks whether markup exists would pass with AgentReady switched off. That is not verification. AgentReady's check passes only when the output it published is the output on the page.
The honest states
A check that has not run yet reads as scheduled, calmly. A storefront that cannot be reached reads as could not verify, with a way to re-check. Neither is dressed up as success or alarm. When the live data stops matching your store, that is detected and reported with the crawl date that caught it.
- Verified live, with the date of the observation
- Check scheduled, after a publish completes
- Could not verify, when the storefront is unreachable
- Not reaching the storefront, when the embed is off
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the check fetch?
Your public storefront pages, the way an AI crawler fetches them. Each check covers your homepage and a sampled product page, not every URL.
What happens when a check cannot reach my store?
The result records that nothing was observed. It is reported as could not verify, never as a failure, and you can run the check again.
Does a green check mean AI assistants understand my store?
No. It proves the data is present, valid, and parseable on the live page, with a date. No tool can honestly promise what any assistant does with it.
