Two review apps on one product page is how Google drops the stars and how agents get two numbers. The fix is an ownership check, not a louder snippet.
What happens when two review apps both add review schema is the failure mode. This post is the control.
The four states
Not checked. Nothing projected.
Clear to activate. No competing Review or AggregateRating markup on the sampled public URL. You may opt in.
Competing markup found. Another app or the theme already owns it. AgentReady will not add a second copy.
Could not verify. Password, timeout, thin HTML. Activation stays off.
The merchant-facing card uses those labels. The doc is rich-result ownership.
Auto-demotion
If a competitor's markup appears after you activate, AgentReady demotes its own AggregateRating. It does not edit the other app. It does not strip theme code.
Opt-in metafields
Shopify's reviews.rating and reviews.rating_count are a shared namespace. Writing them without asking is how you overwrite Judge.me. AgentReady writes them only after a clear check and an explicit yes, then refreshes Product JSON-LD. Import and storefront blocks do not require that switch.
Review and rating schema on Shopify is the markup primer. Do review rich snippets help with AI answers? is the honest split: snippets are not the same as first-paint text.
AgentReady Reviews stays the product URL.
