Pagination is where review widgets usually give up on machines. The first three quotes are in a client fetch. Everything else is a button that never exists in View Source.
AgentReady splits the problem. The first page is already in the HTML. Show more is a later request.
The loader
After the Liquid snapshot paints, a shopper can ask for more. That request goes to a signed endpoint on the store's domain. Not cdn.some-review-app.com. Not an AgentReady origin the merchant does not control.
Without JavaScript, the initial reviews stay complete and usable. That sentence is also in the product-list block comment in the theme extension, because it is the contract.
How-to: storefront blocks and AI readability. Placement: three theme blocks.
Why AI readers care
An assistant is not clicking Show more. It gets one document. If your social proof is behind the button, it is not in the document.
This still does not mean the assistant will name you. It means the ratings were there to be read. Reviews AI agents can actually read is the positioning. Can AI assistants see my Shopify product reviews? is the diagnostic.
AgentReady Reviews is the product page.
